I just realised that those words on Thom 's face while he is singing are the lyrics ... mirrored . Lol

the only upside to being depressed or feeling lonely is that Radiohead sounds way more sweeter.

I cant believe I used to find Radiohead boring. So glad I gave Ok Computer a listen. This is pure art! I'm embarking on my Radiohead journey guys, wish me luck.

I would visit N.Y.C. to see my grandparents as s child. Now I live in Georgia. And my last grandparent died. Also, as a child I would cry after leaving N.Y.C. and I cried during this song. A Radiohead beginning for me on the Veronzo bridge.

I can remember as a kid I used to hate when my grandad played this song in the car. Although I never used to say anything. Anyway, one day, I asked why he likes it. He just smiled and said that one day I'd understand why he plays it. Now, I absolutely understand and every time I hear it I think of what he said.

I always thought that this was a really soothing and atmospheric song, and then I read the lyrics and it became a lot more depressing than I initially thought it was.

I'm sad... but I don't know why. I feel like where I belong is not here but somewhere else, whether that place exists or not, I'm lost.

So many of you will probably hate me for this but Radiohead is like Coldplay's blacksheep sibling. They both have zero bad songs, theyre both british, Radiohead just knows how to connect with the emotion a little more.

This song sounds like you're the only person left on earth and you're preparing for your own death
Mr. Gentleman Robot
I think this song would go good with a death scene. The character falling to the ground on the battlefield, everything going quiet for him as the battle rages on around him. As he looks up he sees a sky full of stars and closes his eyes for a last time... but then the images of those he left behind the front-line give him strength to stand up, but the battle has already ended and so he falls back down, darkness covering him and giving him peace...\nSorry got carried away a bit back there.
Mr. Smigglez
Why did I only hear this beautiful song today - was on a playlist and working at the same time, and this played. I paused and I don't know what's going on, but emotions were rising - it's the feels.

This song is like an anthem for the thirtysomething. The simultaneous creeping terror of- and longing for- conformity, security and settling down into comfortable middle age. Always been my interpretation, anyway.
Sera
Such a beautiful song, it feels sad and happy at the same time. So cathartic.

If you don't pay attention to the fact that it's about suicide, this is a really calming song.
Strange Attractor
Breaking up with the one girl who ever truly loved me, around this single was released (heart full up like a landfill, bruises that won't heal), then a few years later the crushing disappointment of adult life and work (a job that slowly kills you), marching against the Iraq war (bring down the government, they don't speak to us), finally buying property and slowly suffocating in the transition to middle age (I'll take a quiet life... such a pretty house...) Each Radiohead song is a constellation of memories and their whole body of work is a star map in my mind.
The Loobis
I can'y get past that God damn eye.
This Fuggin Guy
I'm 99% sure the bell (?) sound in this song is sampled from hospital equipment of some sort. I recognized that sound when I was in a psychiatric hospital, I just couldn't tell what the sound was coming from in particular.

I'd like to listen this music at the last moments of my life. I wish to fade away just like this feeling.

i’m sick of feeling sad. all day everyday. i kind of feel like music is my only outlet i have. i always find myself coming back to songs like this, it gives me a sense of relativeness. i’ve tried to talk to people, yet i’m yet to come across someone who actually understands. sorry for dumping out all of my feeling on a radiohead music video lol, just kind of had to get it out.

As a mid 20s guy with lots of loneliness throughout life, this song is my only companion. It doesn't break my heart and doesn't disappoint me. And I feel less alone that there are people like me here as well, although it's ironic.

I think about this song a lot, especially lately because it describes me so well. I'm only 22 but I feel like I am at the end of my rope with life. I am so disappointed in myself, overworked, under paid (even at 22), low future prospects, no one believes in me, my family just about disowned me etc etc. I can't even hold down most foods, I'm so depressed but some how this song soothes me, almost like someone understands lol

Why do I always end up listening to this on a friday night, alone in my bed

Our useless privilege is that we are aware we are depressed. And this seems to be an ideal soundtrack for us, invisible extras, trying to live as protagonists of a painful pantomime. Nothing but a chain of events without climax.

In this video Thom had to do multiple takes since it was so hard for him to hold his breath for that long. In fact the behind the scenes video shows him getting upset over it. (I can't blame him) so thats why he started smiling at the end

I love Thom Yorke's vocal range.
